Second Sight Cinema?and?Cinemaven?s Essays from the Couch?are pleased as punch to announce our?upcoming blogathon,?Order in the Court!, to celebrate the movies we love about justice, blind justice, blonde justice, ?show trials, and miscarriages of justice.
Mark your calendars:?Court will be in session starting?June 10?and running through?June 13.
Rules:?Anything from the dawn of cinema to 2000?we?re throwing it wide open to go beyond our blogs? usual classic film orientation and include more recent favorites, and since we were able to find 110 eligible movies, there will be no duplicates allowed. You?re not restricted to movies where most of the action is in the courthouse; any movie including an important trial scene (or inquest or congressional inquiry) is, er, legal.
